He has performed and covered leading roles with respected regional opera companies across the United States and has trained with renowned artists and institutions, including the Aspen Music Festival and the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.

While at Indiana University, Schlenker appeared in numerous title and principal roles spanning standard and contemporary repertoire, including Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd. He has earned praise from coaches and collaborators for his musicality, dramatic commitment, and strong vocal presence.

A dedicated collaborator, Schlenker has worked with distinguished industry professionals such as Carol Vaness, Michael Baitzer, Kevin Murphy, and Ramón Tebar, continuing to refine his artistry as he builds a growing career on the operatic stage.
